The Social Piggy wants its website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Our approach
The site is built mobile first with semantic HTML, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus, reduced-motion support, responsive layouts and accessible form labelling. Our target is to meet WCAG 2.2 AA requirements where reasonably applicable to the public site.
What we test
Release QA should include keyboard-only use, focus order, heading structure, form labels/errors, colour contrast, zoom/reflow, reduced motion, screen-reader spot checks and common mobile viewport sizes.
Third-party content
Some embedded or third-party tools may be outside our direct code control. We assess important customer journeys and will look for practical alternatives where a third-party limitation creates a significant barrier.
Tell us about a problem
If you find an accessibility problem, email thepigfarm@thesocialpiggy.co.uk and tell us the page, what you were trying to do and any assistive technology/browser information you are comfortable sharing.
